You will learn to hook up the computer, boot it and navigate the desk top. We will discuss basic computer terminology and will cover the following topics:
(Please note that this course
does not cover Internet and email topics. Those items are covered in the
intermediate class). If you are interested in a ground level
class to get you started, then this is the class for you.
COST: $59.95 Level Two ClassesFor those who feel they need more, we offer
intermediate training for Windows XP. The intermediate course consists of
two sessions, 90 minutes each. This training
is not an overview. It is a comprehensive look at the
Microsoft Windows XP operating system. This course concentrates on the
following:
If you have
difficulty using the mouse, identifying icons and their
use or understanding computer terminology, then we
suggest you do not start with this class. Take the
familiarization class first and then practice a while. You will get more out of this class if you have a working
knowledge of the desktop and proficient use of the mouse. Level Three ClassesOnce you have mastered Windows XP, you may opt for
Tech Computer's highest level of training. This class
teaches you how to effectively maintain your computer
system. This course will give you a head start on how to install
and configure hardware, resolve conflicts, set up a
network and fix some of the most common problems that
occur in Windows. Again, we must stress that this class
is not for beginners. This is a very technical, hands-on class which
requires you to have an in-depth knowledge
of the operating system and the ability to be able to identify computer components
as well as being familiar with their properties. For
more information on this course, please contact Mike at mike@techcomputer.com Classes can be scheduled
Monday through Saturday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
Classes are not held on Sundays. |
